Baby's First Christmas (Children)

So, this is Christmas morning...
everyone is here.
I don't really understand it
cause it isn't very clear,

but Mom and Dad are happy,
there's pretty ribbons everywhere,
lots of things that they call presents
and even paper I can tear.

They keep showing me this new stuff,
balls and books and even soxes...
they don't seem to know how fun it is
just playing with these boxes.

i agree with mary...talented...
CJ-You're just too good at this. There's nothing like a well written poem, no matter who the audience.
C.J. I think you are so talented with your childrens poetry.........(as well as your others) . You really do have a gift and I'm glad you share it here. Sincerely, Mary
I love remembering my son's (now 22) first Christmas in this world. I wanted to make it so special....and doesn't even remember!
This brightened my Saturday. Cool and fresh, put a smile on my face. It is nice to see fun things tried with childrens poetry. Rhyming Soxes And Boxes wont suit everyone, i thought that was fantastic! ! ! Aimed at children, but pleased this (so called) adult. Thank you for sharing. Kindest Regards Slim. x.
