Mu Wapi Wafasiri.

Nimejinamia sana, nimechoka kuvisoma.
Tufanye jambo la mana, nisijwe pandwa na homa.
Je Taaluma hakuna, ni vipi tukose chama.
Tufanye lilo busara, tuwape kilicho bora.

Wa Bara na Visiwani, hatwoni hili tatizo?
Waje wa ughaibuni, watwanzishie mchezo?
Waeke mitandaoni, angali tupo wa mwanzo.
Wafasiri Kiswahili, wahariri nanyi mumo.

Mageuzi ni lazima, naona nasongwasongwa.
Sijapata ilo wima, tafasiri zinanigwa.
Bora sie kuzizima, asili itaborongwa.
Waharibu twawaona, tuli kama tumezugwa.

Magazeti tuhakiki, wasome wasipaniki.
Isiwe nyongo na siki, bali asali ya nyuki.
Waambe zetu hakiki, tukaange wazandiki.
Chama kianzishwe leo, mie mwanachama hai.

Nasema japo sijui, je Chama kipo nchini?
Ni vipi sikitambui, au kipo kaburini.
Sifaze sizisikii, au kafa ya sabini?
Sijamwona mwanabodi, Wafasiri Tanzania.

Tamati ninafikia, siachi sisitizia.
Kote ntakililia, kitakuja kueleweka.
Sitoki uabiria, nitapanda sintashuka.
Washuke wale njiani,
mie bado sijafika.
