Bad Day

Poem By David Lomenick

Slashed,
blood on the wall.
Raped,
ripped open shirt.
It all started with a stalk,
walk away from the day your paranoia kicked in.
you accepted him,
his devilishly innocent grin.
deep dark secrets of his past,
your last day was his first.
you wished for the best,
but you got the worst.

Comments about Bad Day

This is my first review. I don't feel qualified for the most part to comment on anyone else's poetry. I did however have to say something this time. I loved this poem. I loved it. I'm not a great fan of drawn out hard to understand poetry. I'm a simpleton I guess. :) I got the full picture, and that I think, is what it's all about.

Emotion

Hide behind your wall,
so every time you fall,
nobody will see who you really are.
Why are you afraid of revealing your feelings?

World Of Lies

The world is a place of imagination,

a place where all is real,

Headache, Heartache

Push the screw into my temple,
give me the headache that i've begged for.
Push the neddle deep into my heart,
my heart has been broken so many times before.

Follower

You run,
i only follow,

Passion

my passion for you,
you may never know,
so why is it that we hide all our love behind something called hate?
why do we even hate when we know we will die soon anyway?
