Beauty And Serenity

Poem By Virginia J. Brady

My garden is serene and stressless.
Whatever the season it's a place to come
and meditate on God's blessedness
the flowers seem to grow to "His" glory
colorful birds come to bathe and some
to eat of "His" bounty and declare their territory.
To sing "His"praises for each new day.
At twilight for "His" care of them as they go to rest.
The winds blow, trees begin to dance and sway
clouds race across the sky three abreast
saying a goodbye, traveling to other times and places.
The children's laughter as they swim an play
a joy to behold, the happy smiles on their faces.
We need to make our own Eden to allay
the stress of the maddening world's pressures.
A place that calms, nourishes and enlightens our soul,
on the significant meaning of our life that assures,
what God has promised "His" loving fold.
An everlasting life of beauty and serenity
in heaven-Everyone's Garden of Eden!

"His&Quot; Love

Some see a sunny day, others see a dark and dreary
Optimism and pessimism seem to fight within us all.
Trying to find an answer can make us drawn and weary.
Call on God's strength to help us stand staunch and tall,

Two Roads

There are two roads to travel inlife.
The high road seems to be easier
It's called pleasure without strife.
It is wide, well traveled, crowded and busier.
