Lovelorn

(READ ALL TIM LABBE POEMS)

Still, Silent Snow blankets regret
muting emotion, white lifeless hue.
The dance of a love's brilliant light
was once the breath of Springtime's dew

Scattered leaves of Autumn's past
strewn throughout it's lonely street
amidst, cold, damp pavement
whence we struggle, yet to breathe

Wailing cries and muffled sobs
Misery suffocates the mourn
Sorrowful eyes, forever weep
...for the broken hearts of the lovelorn
