Between Lovers

Poem By sancia lawrence

His touch is electrifying
His kiss the gate keeper of death
His eyes dripping with desire
As he aches the day he meets his love
Thoughts of sexual contact

Races through his head
Feathers, ice, chocolate
Objects used to complete bliss
He moans, she grabs his hair
A rhythm that transpires through the night
She whispers I love you

He responds with harder strokes
For he was not of words but action
Her insides burst with yearning desire
As he fills her with satisfaction
And then they cease

Holding each other close
For they knew that
This night would not repeat
For she was to be married to another

A Father's Mistake

You were my sun in winter
You were my flowers at springtime
But on that treacherous night I became a monster
And trampled your beautiful petals

My Life

I am tired of the hurt
I am tired of the pain
Where can I turn?
When there is a lot in my way
