Bird Girl

Poem By s./j. goldner

Some say I may just be
Stretching my wings.
“Oh don’t worry, she’s just
Stretching her wings.
Yes, she’ll settle down soon.”

No—no, you see,
This is an explosion inside
One of the best of it’s kind.
No—no, you see,
I’m learning to fly.
