Bitter-Sweet

Ah, my dear angry Lord,
Since thou dost love, yet strike;
Cast down, yet help afford;
Sure I will do the like.

I will complain, yet praise;
I will bewail, approve;
And all my sour-sweet days
I will lament and love.

My sour-sweet days! ! Thanks for sharing.
I will complain, yet praise; I will bewail, approve; I do so understand. Praise Creator God
Well, since rhyming's been my ruin and win, let me rhyme to the bitter and better end also I have had bitter experiences of late; this has been the worst, yet in a way the most fortunate, contradiction and reconciliation is what this poem educes..........thanks for sharing
Great poem. If we all could keep this attitude we sure will be closer to that Lord.
