Black And White

Poem By Hopeless Heart

I wish the world were black and white
No shades of grey,
It would be so much easier
If things were that way

Why can’t things just be simply?
Why all these twist and turns,
It complicates everything
Saying something and afraid of being burnt

Many people say the world is black and white
Oh how wrong they are,
Human are deceiving
The truth is always so far

Locked deep inside is the truth
But it’s something no one will ever hear
Will it hurt too many people?
This is something everyone fears

‘Ignorance is bliss’
Isn’t that what they say,
Maybe I should pretend the world is black and white
And not these shades of grey

To shut my eyes to the real world
And ignore the truth,
This is something I cannot do.
I am not one of those stupid youths

The world is not black and white
This is something I must accept,
I’ll have to live in grey
Until my death.

Sleep precious
Sleep my love

From Dawn To Dusk

As the sky darkens I think of you
And all the things you said you would do
You said you would always be there
You said you would always care

Not Time Yet

A world without eyes
A world filled with lies
Truth hidden deep
Never spoken, not a peep

Hold my breath,
Close my eyes,
Waiting for the ripping
Deep inside

The Rose

The rose lying dead
Upon the drenched ground,
Bruised, hurt and broken

I Am Me

I’m crumbling from within
My minds in a continuous spin,
Round and around it goes
I’m great at hiding so no one knows
