Poem By Khalid Mansour Saleh
Drawing the blood, watching it drip
The rich colour, like a satin sheet.
The warmth, the comfort, the blood.
Do I feel alive?
The daily routine, the endless day
Sitting and waiting for night to fall
And for one more day
The world turns off.
Nowhere to go, nothing to do
The waiting ground, with nothing to see.
The growing population, the feeling of loss.
Welcome to the world, you know nothing about.
Rats, drugs, alcohol and fights.
Like a seedy bar, that follows you about,
Open your mind, and embrace us.
This is a Blair, but to us it's reality.
