Blind Myself

Poem By Marijke McKinney

Clothed bodies
Shirtless moon
The truth kisses
Before us so bare
Bright without reason

Safe kept inside walls
Cracking in the corners
I kept asking
Crumbled mess

Little quiet house
Windows have bloomed
Everything is too bright
I can’t adjust

Pain will only
Rise the truth
I’ll blind myself
So I can see
