Bloody Mary
JG (10.31.86 / Attleboro, MA)

Bloody Mary

sprained soul,
buried alive.
come again,
lend me your smile-
your lips part in a morbid grimace,
swallow me whole.
roll away, black,
send the abyss screaming,
longing for home in lust.

aside from the last line, this poem is perfect.
