Botanical Surrealism

Poem By Edward Kofi Louis

And, to the cornfields with my love!
But, try to lead me on, with your love;
And, to your botanical surrealism.

Of the weather,
Windy skies! !
And like the lamb's shadow towards the dancers;
Cosmic love!
Night of the comet;
And, at the beach before dark.

Red-Orange Hibiscus Flowers! !
Of the pollen,
Of your love;
And like the muse of peace in the land of joy!
But, Abraham begot Isaac.

An abandoned cemetry is now a football field for school children!
And like the Christianborg's crossroad shooting incident in 1948;
Which occured on the 28th of February in Accra,
But, never be ashamed of your emotion on this date in history.

Like the muse of your love in the land of your muse;
But, in the morning the sun says hello to when i awake;
And, the moon bids me farewell before i sleep.
