Bottle Me Up

Poem By Sarah Eve

Bottle me up

Fill me with your lies
And criticize
The ties
I make

Say my make
Was but mistake

Endowed with too much of everything
All my everythings exploded
Into Nothing’s empty heart

And you bleed me dry
Saying “love is tacky”

So, as if upon a whim
I grew a set of fins
