Brand Name Masquerade

Poem By Not The Pilot

she wants her coffin as gorgeous as the jewels on her neck
she wants to be remembered
she wears a sign on her chest
she was designed
a label comes with it

hold your head in the sky, your eyes on the prize
there's so much more, you're hiding yourself

your royal highness, it seems your dress was sewn to your skin
you don't remember who you are
your skull is as thick as your make-up
which is now running down your face
and you don't know where you belong in the world

hold your head in the sky, your eyes on the prize
there's so much more, you're hiding yourself

Comments about Brand Name Masquerade

There is not much here to comment on because I don't understand the poem. It has no clarity or meaning to impart to the reader. It would take a fool to conceive of one. That is because that would be a waste of time. Only a fool has such time to waste. GW62
