Break Out

Poem By shannon pollard

Break out
Break out of this shell that feels like he'll
no I can't dwell on my past mistakes that binds my soul In restraints
forget about the past, dont let It harras you, don't make It embarras you
you have to embrase It and face It don't desgrace It.
Don't runaway and waite Unti'll the next day
hoping that the pain will magically go away by smoking some hay
and still hope that people will stay eventually It fall away
like clay, please stay please stay as time passes by
and people stop and say hi, have a nice day and you turn the other way.
Break out of your old habits reach out and grab It,
It's In the palm of your hands you sit down and say man I need a plan,
Im tired of being a fan I want to be the one In the stands
they're Is nothing wrong with competing and being defeated
as long as you dry your eyes after you cry and try again you won't die
unless you feel sorry for your self.
