Bright Red, Bright White, And Pitch Black

Poem By Margarita Kamal

Eyes filled with fear, for the feeling of death surrounded her, she knew she did not ask for this...
Bright red hands, a bright white moon, but a pitch black sky that's all she remembers from the night they died.

Letters To Myself

Dear Me,

You've been through hell and back, I know I am the only person that knows what you've been through, and look at you, you're still here, standing tall. You've fought your battles and other peoples battles, and deep down in your broken heart you still love yourself, and deep down in your gypsy soul you know you're home. So stop crying child, hold that beautiful face up with pride, because others deserve a chance to try, to try and thrive, in your beautiful brown eyes.
