Brown Girl, where did you come from?
by Bree Z. Love
So brown not sure. So if I feel dumb;
of not knowing the nationality you are
for the complexities formed.
A picture of your unique bizarre.
Your beauty in sierra brown; familiarity.
You remind me of a fox.
Those eyes, ties mine in knots.
You remind me of Consuelo;
when you cook for me in a sweet simmering slow.
Loving your braids, not easy to dread.
Liken to the cardinals; red.
But, I dare
Brown Girl; what part of the world
did your beauty come?
No question is too dumb!
Please respond to kill my curiosity.
"I am from all nationalities;
glowing of all humanity."
