Burden Baby

Burden Baby

Were you born
ever to be a burden.
Then for your mom,
at her lap.
Now for me
in my heart.

It's difficult to love somebody with a spirit so wild. a mother would constantly be worried, and a lover always at his feet.. atleast that's how i understand it. I can almost feel for you.. Good job..
I LIKE IT BUT I DODNT THINK YOU MEAN BURDEN AS BOTHER DO U? A LIL CONFUSING BUT GREAT AS I THINK DEEPLY ABOUT UR WORDS I WOULD OF PUT IN MY OWN VIRSION IF I WAS YOU WERE YOU BORN TO EVER BE SUCH A BURDEN? FOR YOU THERE YOU LAY ON YOUR MOTHERS LAP SO NICE AND GENTLE, OH FOR HOW SO LITTLE! NOW FOR ME IN MY HEART WILL NEVER BE TART OR HIT LIKE A DART AS THO STRIKE ME MY LIFE IS FOR YOU TO HOLD AS I SAY BEHOLD YOU ARE NEVER LESS THAN THIS PRECIOUS GOLD! ! ! YA LK? ? / BUT I LK YOURS ALOT WELL TTYL AS MY JOURNEY ISNT THROUGH
I don't think that you mean a burden as a burden, but in the love that's in your heart, the worry of the expectations that you have for your loved one, what the future holds for your baby, all these things can weigh heavy on ones shoulders, it's a burden we gladly carry, great work Osceola
I suspect there is more than a hint of irony in this piece about love and need. Simple words say so much. love, Allie xxxx
Surely if you carry this person in your heart, they are not truly a burden... Hugs, Dee
