Burning Question

I enjoy the silence as I break into two
part at the seams as I daydream of you

there's one question, just one
and that's all; none else matter

they're there but I don't care
just this one; it kills me
brings me to all confusion
allows me to fall apart; collapse into pieces

peel away at my closed heart; tear at my skin
broken memories; reoccuring past
burn, crash, break, decay
lose myself day by day

it's a question I can only answer
a question I need to find
for myself, no one else

it's burning away at my insides
you're clouding my mind
it's crushing me from all sides

I don't know what to do; my only question is
why do I still love you?
