Butterfly

Poem By Sally Davis

Butterfly, butterfly,
Hopping, fluttering, colours
Why won't you stay for a while?
You look so pretty
sitting still in the
bright sunshine
foliage green, wings bright.
Stay oh! Stay!
My pretty butterfly.
Be my friend for a
moment longer
than a moment.
