By The Wayside(Tanka 3)

A sick orange cat
followed me till I got home;
I gave her some fish.
She ate and slept, night and day;
Now she is fat and happy.

Followed me! ! Caregiving. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Sympathy towards animal is nicely painted in this concise Tanka. A beautiful poem is shared amazingly.10
Kindness to animals reflects a loving heart.
By the Wayside- - a title that reminds me of the story of the Good Samaritan. A fitting title as it turns out! You came across a poor starving needy creature of God's and you saved him- -fed him and fed him and fed him until he was in fat happy shape again and perhaps rules your roost as cats are apt to do! ! A happy score of 10+++++++++++++ for you! !
So sweet! I love cats and whenever I see a stray cat coming to my house, I try to feed it, but my husband has a formidable dislike for cats and drive them away! Of course he has a reason. When my son was young he was scratched by a cat... our own cat when the little fellow inadvertently stamped on its tail. He had to take anti rabies injection! I am sure your cat has now become part of the family! A lovely Tanka!
