Witchcraft And Wizardry

I've got a handful of stardust with your name on it
From summer night dances on our naked feet
We'd stomp the earth till the skies would shake
What a lovely din the comets would make

You had a golden compass within your heart
Our dreams and destinies it would chart
A lantern would fuel your emerald ring
To imagine was to let us do anything

You had a frozen droplet of unicorn's tear
It could change sea water into butter beer
I wondered how it happened in my wide-eyed youth
Now I know magic lies in not knowing the truth

I've got a penny you gave to wish me luck
From behind my ears you reached and plucked
It taught me the best things in life are free
No fortune smiled greater than your love for me

Fantastic tie-up between myth and dream. They embracing each other to depict a political philosophy where specialized labour-worker will lead the state power in particular field according to the requirement. Lucid expression with proper diction and form keeps the writing aesthetically in height. Another excellent work of experienced achievments in poetry. Regards, 10+ pranab
