The night and the rain are camoflage,
by Wilfred Owen Bitner
they protect me through the years
in the dark you can't see my sorrow
in the rain you can't see my tears
the wind blows through my loneliness
but the sky conveys your lies.
I walk through dark and rainy streets
but still can't hide from your eyes
the downpour goes right through me,
I need someplace to hide,
you were my closest friend in life,
I can't believe that you died.
