Camping At Farragut Park
The water clear in greens and blues.
The sky blue too,
But of another hue.
The lake a mirror reflecting grandeur,
Of mountains tall and steep
Falling out of the sky and dropping,
Starkly into the deep.
The Idaho sun beams down intensely.
While cool air moves through the trees.
The sun a warm and loving touch.
The air a gentle breeze.
The smell of fresh pine fills the air,
As little ground squirrels scurry everywhere.
The air is wrinkled by the heat,
Of a campfire blazing at my feet.
All around me the world seems to be at peace,
And I am superbly grateful,
