Two capsized at sea
So close
Yet so far apart,
Never touch
Struggle to reach
Long to hold
To communicate
To be closer-
Boat between them. The tide will turn
And sweep over them
Swallowing them up
In a wave of consciousness,
In memory
In cooperative spirit
They cling
In drenched bliss-
The boat drifts away.
