The Greatest

We all have pains.
And they all are excruciatingly agonising
And turn us pale.

We all ache alone
And suffer in silence.
No difference at all.

Except, some suffer miserably;
And some suffer with beauty,
Elegance, and fragrance.

Those who can wear smile,
Sing song, chant poem,
While twisting in agony
Are the bravest, greatest of this world.

There is nothing like the simple beauty of a Sara Teasdale poem!
