Changes Come

Poem By Heather Z. Hanna

Changes come quickly.
Too quickly for us to know
That Life is swiftly moving
Down the river will flow.
Moving steady and sure one day
Then over the edge we'll go.
Our Life redirected
Along new paths below.
We look back to see behind
But distance does ever grow.
With little time we see
That Life
We love it so
Is going, going so fast.
Life waits not
For tomorrow.

A Flower, A Friend

A flower colors our garden
With many rainbow hues,
Expressing our feelings
In Yellow, reds and blues.

A Voice

A voice in the dark.
A sound to be heard.
A vibration of tone.
A dark light of word.

Must I Face This Day?

Must I face this clear bright day?
With heavy Heart
and sorrowful soul?
The sunlight ebbs and flows

The Dogwood Tree

Through the dark green curtains
The snowbright dogwood floats
As a cloud of butterflies
Above the damp sunlit slope.

Inside A Sadness

I am down inside a sadness that won't leave me alone.
When I think of you and things that you've said
I manage a smile and it makes me free
For a moment, I fly

Silently Crying

Silently crying,
Flowing of tears,
Straining of Heart,
Pain in the mind,
