Childhood

A childhood ended
A new one about to begin
but is she ready to release what is no longer hers to keep
rendered helpless by what is inside of her
the clock of her time is ticking away
she doesn't have much left
Too young for the burden
Old enough to have known better
Young enough to ignore the better judgement
Now it's all over
Hope he loved you
to have done this to you
You don't need me anymore
Lost everything for your love
Your beauty you have bestowed upon someone
so tiny
you both cry
she will cry for hunger
and so will you
you will cry for hunger of your lost
Childhood
