Childhood's Faith

Poem By gregory collins

A tear escapes the eyes
and the price that life exacts
for granting serenity
is the sound you will see at last
but with no eyes
as the moonlight out on the sea
is conducting your figure in a dance
where your hips are as faithful
as eternity wiping your cheeks dry.
