Chocolate

have you ever seen real chocolate?

spiced with a hint of chili

smooth as sex

with just enough sugar as to make palatable

but not so much as to divert the pleasure

melting before my eyes

but these are your eyes I’m talking about

your saline pearls of cocoa

smiling back at me in moist love

it’s indescribable that I Get to gaze into them again.
