Chocolate Dreams

Is it the way it melts
Or the way it crumbles
Better hot or cold
New or old
Fresh is best
My pallette shall test
The texture or the flavour
I long to savour
Wishing this melting moment could last forever
The perfect recipe I will endeavour
To drink it or eat it is the question
Will it cause me indigestion
What a perfect sweet pleasure
My own little treasure
A pure addiction
Maybe an affliction

The title caught my a chocoholic myself I enjoyed the sensuality of this one, Paula. You've got me thinking of frozen Mars bars, to be cut into slices and enjoyed bit by bit. Or nutty bars to be slowly sucked. Or.....oh, Forgetting myself here. A great little poem. Love, Fran xx
