Christmas Cards

Cheerful seasons greetings are hand written in a card
Hopes of good tidings and a future that is not hard
Robins perched upon a twig is what we like the most
Its also good to see a nativity scene and the heavenly host
Snow laden trees are a wonderful sight to see
Turkeys taste better when bred organically and left to roam free
Mince pies and Christmas pud are a tasty festive treat
Angelic voices singing carols to a cheerful beat
Shining brightly in the darkness you can see the Christmas lights

Charge your glasses and make a toast to Christmas party nights
Artistic and beautiful some cards are there to treasure
Ribbons and bows on a card give it an extra personal creative measure
Don't forget to post your cards or you'll be taken off the list
Save your cards and then recycle, save the planet, I think you get the gist
