Cobblestone

The cobbles are tiny stars in the river
Their delicate light spread on the ripple

A kid holding a small bamboo basket
Come to pick up the cobbles in sunset

Out of the water, bring them to her place
Hey, the cobbles are just some oval stones

What an exquisite picture your poem paints in the mind! Vivid imagery, childlike joy are encapsulated within just three stanzas. Thank you for sharing, Cigeng. I enjoyed it, immensely!
