Coffee Of Stars

Her moon is the everlasting cream
In my coffee of stars.
I stir in the hopes she appears
In half dark twinkles of night.
My hands warm in the bistro of
She leans against my lips
& my emotions erupt in hot steam.
A love like hers silk as cream,
Easing down my throat.
I stir until half dark twinkles are covered.
I stir until only the smallest bit is shown.
Her moon the everlasting cream,
In my coffee of stars.
The taste forever lingering on my tongue.
This cream a kiss that orbits much of the world.
A romance I taste with each sip,
In my coffee of stars

Coffee and love, perfect combination. Wonderful poem Kewayne.
You had me right at the opening lines, hook flow and hypnotizing sinker, the language was seductively effusive and bewitching. Coffee is not by celestial paramour, but you make it sound inviting. I don't know if its a metaphor for a girl, or literal obsession for caffeinated confection, but its brilliant. Well deserve as Poem of the day!
A marvelous poem of the day, Kewayne. Congrats for being chosen....10++++++++++
Beautiful poem about one's addiction and love for coffee finding a true origin in real romantic love- the cream like an obsession, the stirring like anticipating great love. Excellent imagery and expression and very close to what we know best- our daily lives and the coffee we wake up to!
Mr.Wadley, this poem definitely left a sense of delight to my tummy! Fascinating write. Reading this poem had my imagination bursting with intrigue. Congrats on it being chosen as 'POD'. Well-deserved.
