Poem By David Mitchell

I always feel cold
I wake up in the morning and I feel cold
I pull the duvet over me to try to get warm
I get out of bed and I am cold
I get dressed and I do not feel any warmer
I have breakfast and I am still cold
I walk through the freezing cold and rain and I am even colder
At the end of the day I go to bed
and I cannot sleep
because I am cold
and the angel of music sings songs in my head
the fires of hell itself would scarce suffice to warm my heart
