Comfortable Hideaway

Poem By Sally Nesmith

You are so comfortable
right here beside me
and right here beside me
is where you should be
you are very welcomed
and are not ashamed
to be here for free
and never be blamed
always it shines
in this place we've discovered
we're never made fun of
in this place we've recovered
only right here
there's no hurt and no pain
nothing's ever lost
but everything is gained
suddenly one night
we realize in fear
and slowly we see
that we are trapped here
never to see our families
never to be loved
but by each other
and by those above
but the scariest part yet
is that we come to find...
we finally figure out
that we are trapped
in our minds.

I never noticed you before.
Always quiet and ignored.
Never made yourself known.
Nothing of your soul was shown.

I'M Here

I'm in some dark place here,
don't know where to go....
I can see you,
but only so faint

A Christmas Letter.....

We see each other on the streets
yet, still we look away
we once were called the best of friends
that day is not today

I look around and stare
at box i am imprisoned
from within...
its dark

We see you in the bed
your chest move up and down

One Way

There is only one way
to express how i feel
about my life
about my dreams
