Convenience

Poem By Jade lee

It is just convenience you said frankly
What we have is just convenience
enjoy the time and make nothing out of it
It's a sad truth that I hope to change

In your body I found pleasure and relief
pleasure that questions my dignity
I tried to analyse and to justify
sadly I learnt that there is nothing more

In your coversation I see traces of guilt
Succumbing to your weakness to fight the flesh
You let the pleasures to mask your pain and
You led me into your world and I was mirroring your pain

I traveled aimlessly in this dismal place
Drifting hopelessly and I found solace with you
When I began to hope for something more
only to discover that you brought me more pain

You'Ve Lost Her

she was the one that caught your eyes
she was the one with an amazing voice
she was the one that challenged you
she was the one who knows how to love you

Fragile

a little too tired of analysing your own life
a little too confused about why you failed
you look towards others whom you thought did well

A Beautiful Afternoon

The moisture seeping through the icy glass cools your palm.
The golden rays of the setting sun had you peaking through your weary eyes.
Gazing out onto the desert horizon with a far-away look in your eyes
Letting your body melt in to the wooden chair, hanging you limps low

A Pleasant Dream

You came into my life in such a decent time
Shared your secrets and pain
Moved me with your soulful tunes
Opened up my mind and soul

Break Up (Vodka And Orange)

You didn't even bother to call
A cold text message was all I’ve got
That was how you said goodbye
Putting “us” to an end
