Copalis

Poem By Veronika Van Epp

Winds containing a thousand sounds
Waves repeating ageless myth's and truth
Sands gathering to fill a million hands
Sky exploding, creating miracles A song emerging
Bridging, coalescing, uniting
The spirits of creation
With heaven, with earth and within Faith and dreams escalating the chorus
Impelling and commanding
The canvas to release its colors
To come alive...

Palm measured, perclosed by metes and bounds and monuments
Soft echoes of millennia, cuneiform memory stored by nature and departed dwellers
Ghat rising to ancient mountains and riverbank, shale engraved by the sea
Gated entry permits a hagioscope view of the finite herion A solitary stranger enters this parvis, walking carefully on the patina ground

Tekoha Ryapu

The future hails the past
Drums vibrate the stars
The moon descends to flier the dance
Magistral hands heal with incandescence Timeless wisdom that magnifies the Cordillera
