Inside me I feel a hunger for love
by Mellisa Aday
Starving for affection.
I beat wildly at the thought of devotion.
The ache of yearning is too much to bear.
There is so much love inside me.
Yet not another with whom I may share.
Blood rushes through me
as I preform my dutiful task.
However, the joy that comes with giving
Is not a luxury in which I bask.
The chambers I dwell within
Become prisons draped in lonliness.
I see crimson surrounding me.
Symbolizing rage, or is it passion?
I gush at a meer chance,
and frighten whomever is around.
A percieved attack upon them,
and then, death.
