Curses

They exist in fairy tales
Struck upon princesses
In far away lands
We're all princesses lately
We just mask it with normality
Each with a curse
And one way to cope
Some pretend to have multiples
I have one
Yet
Two masks
Tears have ceased
Not for many
We have other names for it
Many just a bad day
We shrug them off
Making them bounce back harder
Until we crack
Then with no hope they consume us
We have no control
Pills don't help
We won't take them anyway
Many call the ones who crack crazy
Well we're all like them on the inside
They just have the guts to express it
They are the ones who over come curses
They are strong
We are weak
Curses consume us
