The Other Woman

No lights are meant for me...
No laughter and celebration or joy in the Open...
No walking hands in hands together out on the street...
For me?
clandestine meetings...
Private and secluded corners...
And raised brows....
Still I love...
Love and celebrate silently His name...and identity...
My interference might doom my own happiness.... my love for him...
I might not see him ever... talk to him ever...
get to know his whereabouts ever....
For me...
the secret corners...
raised eyebrows... tight-lipped curiosity...and
Clandestine meetings...
Even then... I never beg...
Never ask for any attention...
My life...my future...
I know there is no end to this shame and pain that
pricks me... haunts me even in my dreams... and when I am awake..
Even then I can't pull myself out of his love...
Can't think ever about any other person...
when he poses all smiles for the camera...
with His beloved Wife and Children in arms...
I... staring at that image broadcast in the social media... smile...
Look at them fondly...
My Man...
Because I am the Other Woman.....
