Daisy Crazy

Poem By Evelyn Buehler

daisies in my hair
red and pink yellow and blue
the fields of frolic

vases hats gardens
trailing sun from window box
swaying to summer

anytime daisy
dawn sunset red midnight black
wild about daisies

Drawing My Own Conclusions

I'd been caught up in the middle, of one of those awful days,
When nothing seems to go right, with glitches and delays.

I was having a rough day at work, and the boss was now irate;

Sunglasses In The Shade

bright pink fingernails
a straw hat low on her brow
cool in sunglasses

Butterfly Kingdom

down in the meadow
flowers bloom in all colors
and butterflies reign

Fading Away

The misty evening will be departing soon,
Leaving but a memory of the summer moon;
As the sunlit halls were golden for a day,
Then Sol died of grief in a dusky display!

Appleyard Mystery

It had started out a peaceful day
In early June.What a lazy Sunday!
You were quite silent, and filled with dismay;
But, what did the preacher say?

The Recluse

I was not prepared for the fame...
Didn't realize the price of a name.
Millions of eyes were watching me-
No place to go they could not see!
