Dark Days And Dangerous Nights

Black clouds are forming
In a circle
Above my head
And I know
Once again
I will be forced down
To my knees
To watch my life
My joy
My optimism
My luck
Swirl around a little
In the sink
Before it
Goes down
The drain
And I will wake up
In the sewer
Of my own design
