Date Rape

I was having so much fun that night
The night I almost died
It happened so fast and sudden
I had no chance to fight

I was clubbing with my girlfriends
Drinking coke and rum
I didn’t even realize
And left it to have some fun

I was getting really thirsty
So I went to get my drink
I sipped it as if it was water
Then I started getting sick

I didn’t know what was wrong with me
So I went to the nearest toilet
But instead of getting better
I started feeling faint

I called for someone to help
But no one seemed to hear
Then I saw a tall dark figure
And it started getting clear

He wasn’t there to help me
He was there to cause me pain
But there was nothing I could do
I didn’t use my brain

He used me like a doll
I moved like one as well
My body wasn’t mine
It was in the hands of hell

He pushed himself inside me
I felt the painful thrust
I tried to scream for someone
But my mouth was full of dust

That is all I remember
I must have fallen asleep
‘Cause I woke up the next morning
Feeling sick and week

There’s a moral to this story
That everyone should know
Don’t leave your drink unattended
Take it where you go.

this is my favorite poem omg its so emotion, and i would never leave my drink un atended. thats a good poem.
I like a poem with a moral. Very simple poem, says what it means and gets the message accross very effectively. I like it, very much.
that is a very deep poem, it kinda makes you think on the kind of guys that are out there. but it was a very good poem.
