The best time of the day is dawn
The pale sunlight makes the dewdrops glitter on the crisp, green lawn
Feeling the fresh, crisp, cool air blowing on my face
The neighborhood waking up at their own pace
The birds are chirping 'Wake up, wake up'
And waking up is one lone pup
I feel as if I'm in a world of my own
Because a solar wind has blown
Blown me to a planet far away
But I know there's no way
No way that could happen
The woodpeckers' tapping sounds like a clicking pen
The best time of day
As in my bed I lay
What will tomorrow's dawn bring
A dawn as fresh as spring
Or a dawn when squirrels play
Dawn is the best time of day
