Dead Voices

Poem By Velvet Astraea Dido

in my igloo
where winter's past
shadow dust
of moonlit fire

linger around
the shortest distance
defame, bethrow
and scorn no more

timeless actions
you have washed among
thorns of disgrace
you have to waste

evil will slay
the wicked,
foes of the righteous
will be condemned

vengance will be
of no more use
words are my only
defense from you

and i shall hate
you no more
when your eyes have
forever closed.

leaves split, travel in light speed
as it hums a reflected bright beam
gushing lines in a heartbeat
it skips and serenades

they are a pair
of unlikely butterflies
wings wide bright
cuddled in the night

and the thunders roll under my feet
the ground jolted as the sky
trembled in deceit

the dark side of me still lingers
and the paranoia never stops
burried this soul
to dead flowers

And Now I Stand

if you go i will not run after you
not anymore
not in a decade
not in a light year

Dark shadows
Heavy rain
flickering spark lights
unfounded; vein,
