Dear Dad... On Father's Day,2014

Poem By Dr. A.Celestine Raj Manohar M.D.,

Though daddy died in ripe old age,
The sorrow, I couldn't bear;
He was a glorious father, sage,
Who showed us love and care.

A father good is priceless wealth;
His love we can't return;
He slogged to keep us in good health,
And toiled to help us, learn.

All may not have a virtuous dad;
Honour your father yet;
Whoever God gave you, be glad,
Your dad's your friend, I bet!

Like mother, father is precious;
He made you what you are;
Deriding him is sin grievous;
He is your mega-star!

Happy Father's Day, Dear dad!

Comments about Dear Dad... On Father's Day,2014

A very sweet and beautifully written poem in honor of a father. Although I loved my father dearly and was grateful to have a hardworking loving dad, it wasn't until he passed st the age of 49 that I realized how truly blessed I was to have such a wonderful man to be called Dad. Thanks for sharing and reminding me again how wonderful my own Dad was.
