This isn't the poem. Someone is plagiarizing Henry Scott Holland's poem and has turned it into a Christian poem. Why is this allowed to happen on this site?
good poem to help people move on even through a tough time
Why does this version add Christ That is not how the poem usually reads

An explanation of good things to be,and come. Why not think of things this way, it can only help.
Wow - an awesome write that echos so many of my own feelings. Beautifully & so eloquently expressed. Well done!
This is incorrect. The poem actually ends: All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again! Source: https: //www.familyfriendpoems.com/poem/death-is-nothing-at-all-by-henry-scott-holland
I have always known that, but, I have not seen it in such a context. Thank you, Mr. Holland!
Really. Having a sound file of this piece read by a machine is an obscenity to life, death and art.
Good one... Death does no difference.
What a great spiritual message you have penned for your readers. Don't stop writing or praising the Lord.
well penned dearHenry remembered my mom and dad when I read it10
Poem read at Daddy’s funeral.
Let us hope what u say is true.
if only this were true! i happen to not believe in an afterlife, or Christ as the Son of God. i used to believe....50 years ago. 'Tis very nicely written, and EXCEPT for the religious tone, i agree with your advice. but, if the absent one is a (dead) husband, and the widow remarries, won't a new husband be, perhaps, bothered when he daily hears his new wife talking to her dead husband? ? ! to MyPoemList. bri (: maybe i'll use in a showcase some month.
