Could it be,
by Lawrence S. Pertillar
That the absence of decency.
Is a willful purpose.
To ensure it leaves.
Along with having propriety.
And thoughtfulness to have it.
To have as common,
As having some sense use to be.
It seems as if cloaked thieves,
Have been given priority.
To do what they wish to punish,
Anyone left who has dignity to express.
And integrity left to respect others.
Are we to believe,
Those impeccably dressed.
Sitting in cesspools confessing it.
Represent the best of life,
We today should accept.
While we allow them to flush,
What values that are left...
Slowly to defend and protect,
A gutter way of life to live.
Without honesty, trust or respect.
With a shown neglect of ourselves.
To prove we accept this done to do.
